BILLY SHOWELL'S BOTANICAL PAINTING IN WATERCOLOUR : Recommended for anyone interested in BOTANICAL art. This is not a loose representation of a visual image, more a laborious process to accurately represent flora or fauna. This is a genre on it's own, and not to be confused with the style of watercolour Jenny teaches in class. However, ALL the process learned in class can be applied here, and Billy is an extraordinary painter with many years of experience. Here is a youtube of a book review for this book:
Highly detailed, and lots of explanation, this book is not for the beginner, but for a painter who knows all the foundation techniques, and just needs to know where to put them. Wonderful! $39.80
